trough the little “Spanish for Travellers” book where the “At the Airport” chapter appeared missing; then it was when we bump into each other…………apologies……….laughs……when we discover our common predicament. Fortunately the cavalry was by and came to our help in the person of a handsome Guardia Civil who guided us to locate our luggage that at the time was turning on the right conveyor. We took advantage of the situation and gave one of acknowledgment kiss to the Guardia and leave to each one quarter
I, myself, with the aim of not to account on the help of nice helpers but for gaining some proficiency in Spanish for me . Few consultations were necessary to find and join a fine Spanish school in Madrid, which allowed me to learn Spanish along during my visit.
Long history short: on my way back home I met her at the airport again, not a difficult coincidence anyway, as she was vacationing herself. Well, I decided to impress her with my knowledge of Spanish……Oh! What a funny scene became then, as she herself had attended a Spanish school, and tried to impress me. At this time we were bumping into each other’s Spanish!
